The Alliance Française Centre is located at 257 Clarence Street, in the heart of Sydney’s thriving midtown CBD. It is half a block from Town Hall and some of Sydney’s best food and shopping is on our doorstep. The shopping oases of the Queen Victoria Building (QVB), Centrepoint and the Pitt Street Mall are nearby and the harbourside gourmet delights of King Street Wharf and Cockle Bay are both within walking distance. The AF Centre is very accessible to public transport as both Town Hall trains and George St buses are only minutes away.

Clarence Street begins parallel to the Queen Victoria Building and runs north/south from Town Hall to the Harbour Bridge. Today Clarence Street has a mix of old historic buildings and newer developments, and you will find an interesting collection of cafes, restaurants, micro breweries and iconic businesses & agencies located in the vicinity.
