"Découverte Culturelle" workshop
Suitable for Years 8 - 12
Enhance your students' knowledge and awareness of French culture through this dynamic multimedia workshop!
OVERVIEW:
- Students compete in teams (bleu, blanc, rouge) to score points through games using our interactive whiteboards
- Students discover the cultural icons of Paris thanks to a guessing game and French jeopardy
- Students become acquainted with French celebrities, discover France's regional diversity and learn about significant French events and celebrations
- Boosts students' confidence to communicate in French, as they interact and problem-solve
- Introduce your students to the Alliance Française de Sydney (Le Grand Café, our Media Centre... )
10.30am to 12.30pm, with a half-hour "tea time" for a croissant and chocolat chaud like a French "petit déjeuner" in Le Grand Café, by Bécasse!
