Alliance Francaise Sydney
Bonjour!

The Alliance Française has settled into its new centre in Sydney. The only reminder of the old building is the address, everything else is new. The success of the Open Day on the 1st October confirmed that there is interest in the community and strong support for our new cultural space. Our aim is to offer to all friends of the Alliance and lovers of French language and culture the best conditions in which to indulge their passion.  Taking advantage of the move, the Alliance Francaise has created a new look with a brand graphic identity which incorporates a red, white and blue ribbon that unites and animates us. We have also created a new website and newsletter. New courses are also being offered, making use of the new interactive white boards which have been installed in classrooms. We invite members to come and practice their French by joining the new conversation groups on current affairs and literature.  The Media Centre will soon be receiving new novels, children’s books, books for French language students, as well as a good stock of films and French music.  November is also the celebration of the Beaujolais Nouveau. The summer was hot, dry and sunny; the wine should be good!
