Classes are organised in groups or on a one-to-one basis, at the Alliance Française or on the company premises. We also provide information and advice to Australians who want to study in France.

That’s in the heart of the busy CBD, above Wynyard station and a just few minutes from Circular Quay.  We are open from 9 to 7 Monday to Thursday, 9 to 5 on Friday, and 8.30 to 2 on Saturday. The Alliance Française de Sydney provides a unique language service where all teachers are qualified French speakers, specially trained in foreign language methodology.

OUR APPROACH

Designed for everyone from the complete beginner to the university specialist, our classes provide a very friendly and motivating atmosphere: through a variety of the most advanced audio-visual methods, the student becomes part of a small group which interacts, communicates and works together.

MULTIMEDIA

At the Alliance Française de Sydney technology is integrated into the teaching of the language. A dedicated language laboratory boasting high quality technological equipment is available (* in 2006) to students for remediation, extension work or to practise their skills with innovative software.

OUR FACILITIES

Outside of the classroom, the Alliance provides students with many opportunities to obtain a real "learn and live" experience: group outings to the cinema, immersion weekends and language trips are our most popular events. The Alliance Française de Sydney also offers private tuition and corporate language training, in general and in specialised French, at the Alliance or at your office. FREE LOANS AT THE "MEDIATHEQUE"

Any student of the Alliance Française de Sydney automatically has rights similar to one of our members during his scholarship and benefits from the facilities and activities offered by our cultural centre.
