How does it work at the Alliance?

Our program is based on the NSW Board of Studies, beginners and continuers syllabi and the Australian Language Levels guidelines.
In designing this program, we took care to stress listening and speaking skills as well as the main functions of the language.

As students’ aptitude in the language can vary independently to their school year, our system does not work by year level but rather by years of experience in learning French.

Level 1 Beginners / First year in French
Level 2 Second year of study in French
Level 3 Third year of study / Beginning of fourth year
Level 4 Fourth year of study in French or over

See the program below

We wish to advise that students must have the written permission of their parents or caregiver to leave the Alliance Française premises during a class, workshop or school visit before the scheduled finishing time.
