Improve your pronunciation of the French language through 8 phonetic improvement sessions.

The oral Anglophone system has its own specificities which sometimes prevent the correct hearing or imitation of the sounds of the French language.

To be able to hear distinct sound sequences is to be able to speak a higher level of French as well as to facilitate the pronunciation of sounds. This means that you will be better able to understand French when it is spoken and that your spoken French will be better understood.

We offer courses which focus on the development of phonetic pronunciation over the course of eight, 45-minute lessons in groups of a maximum of 6 students.

This is a unique framework which aims to improve the level of your French.

The sounds that have been worked on during the course of the 8 phonetics sessions have been chosen according to the problems frequently encountered by English speakers in their French pronunciation. In addition, the “r”, nasal vowels (“an, on, un, in”), the “u” and the “ou” and the elisions will be tackled.

Each session begins with several minutes of relaxation, exercising of the voice and face muscles, followed by work on a more specific sound.

Following are repetition exercises, exaggeration of sounds, emphasised by gestural techniques which will lead the students to better produce and therefore be capable of better hearing the sound which poses the problem.
