“Grand Alps” Exhibition and Talk by Lucienne Fontannaz

Lucienne Fontannaz' paintings draw on her memories of the Swiss and French Alps, her desire to reconnect with the drama of the landscape that shaped her early childhood. She has explored the writings of famous 18th and 19th Century travellers into the Alps and found that their descriptions mirror her own powerful recollections of the mountains.
