Marketing AND EVENTS INTERN


The Alliance Française de Sydney currently has an exciting opportunity for a marketing/events intern to join our small and dynamic team for 6 months.
 

Duration: From August 2018

Internship description

You will be able to learn:

  • Everyday marketing tasks
  • Organisation of all cultural events (venue setup and general logistics)
  • Assist with the creation and production of Marketing materials: flyers, brochures, website update, newsletter, social medias, press releases, etc.
  • Assist with the sales strategies of AFS courses and services and generate new ideas
  • General administrative tasks

Strengths:

  • Good level in English
  • Good general computing knowledge (CMS - making updates to the website, excel, powerpoint, word…)
  • Desire to assist with a range of tasks and activities
  • Take part in the life of the Alliance
  • Good organisational skills with attention to details
  • A “can do” and hands on attitude
  • Dynamic, curious and pro-active skills


Visa requirements

  • 6 months maximum: Working Holiday Visa

Please note: the Alliance Française de Sydney does cover the first 3 nights of accommodation in a backpacker hotel in Sydney. There is reimbursement for lunch and transport. No other participation is offered regarding travel expenses France-Australia or accommodation in Sydney for the length of the internship
