Inauguration of the New Caledonia Cultural Space

To promote and celebrate this stunning destination and highlight the rich Kanak art and culture, a cultural space dedicated to New Caledonia will open at the Alliance Française of Sydney’s Media Centre.

Monday 2 December, join us and the Official Representative of New Caledonia to Australia, Yves Lafoy, at the inauguration of the New Caledonia Cultural Space. In partnership with the New Caledonia Delegation in Australia based at the French Embassy in Canberra, more than 100 works from famous New Caledonian authors such as Déwé Gorodé, Léopold Hnacipan and Paul Wamo have been selected and will be put on display for Alliance members and students to borrow.

Come discover the full range of novels, history books, coffee-table books, children’s story books and songs, and much more. Includes a glass of wine upon arrival.

RSVP by Monday 25 November
