Bastille Festival is renowned for its delicious, authentic French food. This year, more than 100 of the tastiest food stalls will leave you to eat your way through breakfast, lunch and dinner over the 4-day event.
To celebrate our 6-year anniversary, here’s our list of the unique experiences happening this year at Bastille Festival Sydney:
The Cheese Dome: This 90-minute immersive and authentic French winter experience is a world first, here you’ll enjoy an all-you-can-eat service of France’s two most popular melted cheeses, La Fondue and La Raclette.
Christmas in July Markets: There’s
this warm sense of togetherness that fills the air as you explore the traditional outdoor Christmas markets found throughout France
Rosé Royale Bar: With costumes and theming inspired by the great Palace of Versailles, this pop-up rosé wine bar is a festival exclusive that’s sure to inspire a number of Instagrammable moments.
Off Piste Ski and Snowboard Experience: Using HD panoramic screens, and the latest in simulation technology, you’ll be strapped into either skis or a snowboard and taken on a realistic downhill ski experience in the French Alps.
A crowd favourite from last year’s festival, the Electro Beer Garden, is back. This popular outdoor bar pairs premium craft beers with live electro-swing beats, in a neon and faux grass wonderland.
Another much-loved element returning to the festival is the premiere outdoor cinema experience, Le Cinema, held on Tallawoladah Lawn.
Festival Director, Vincent Hernandez said, “I’m very excited to share my country’s diverse culture with the people of Sydney. 2018 marks the
6th year we’ve celebrated in Circular Quay, and I’m proud to announce our expansion of the event to include Bastille Festival in The Rocks.”
