"Colours of Impressionism" from the Musée d'Orsay

Introduction to Impressionism and an Art exhibition not to be missed (end 28 July, only in Adelaide)

Marie Chrétien presents a talk on ‘Colours of Impressionism’, an extraordinary exhibition from the Musée d’Orsay, which includes 65 of the museum’s most treasured paintings by Monet, Manet. Renoir, Pissaro and others.

The exhibition offers a fresh perspective on Impressionism focusing on the colours used by the artists at key stages of their careers and reveals how revolutionary the Impressionists were in their quest to represent the modern world.

Marie Chrétien received a Master of Art History from the University of Sydney.
