Discover or rediscover major European art icons with the Da Vinci Talks, a 3-day series of art talks hosted by Paris-based art commentator and certified national speaker-guide Jacques Le Roux.
« Da Vinci, Notre-Dame de Paris, the Renaissance. People, places and times which resonate today more than ever. As the Louvre opens its milestone “Leonardo da Vinci” exhibition and as Notre-Dame begins its rebirth, let’s celebrate and get inspired! » - Jacques Le Roux
Embark on a three-day journey to uncover the ongoing legacies of these three artistic icons with art commentator Jacques Le Roux. A Q&A
session led by Matthew Westwood, the chief arts correspondent of The Australian newspaper, will round off the talks.
On Tuesday 26 November, learn how Leonardo Da Vinci’s life and forward thinking still resonate with our time.
On Wednesday 27 November, the Notre Dame Talk will look back on the extraordinary fate of the most iconic monument from the Middle Ages, Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral, and reveal its impact on the collective psyche.
On Thursday 28 November, dig deeper with the Renaissance Talk on the Renaissance masters – Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael – and discover how these artists embody various approaches to entrepreneurship and work ethic.
