The Sydney French Open is a tennis competition and fundraising event gathering together the French & Francophile communities in Sydney. This sixth edition will take place at the Eastcourts Tennis Club in Kingsford on Sunday 27th and Monday 28th January 2019
The Open is structured around three key draws:
Since its early days, the Open’s main goal has been to support the Redkite / Cure Our Kids, New-Caledonia charity whose mission is to help kids who have been diagnosed with cancer and need to leave New Caledonia to get long term treatment at the Westmead Children Hospital.
The charity coordinator and her team of volunteers provide a wide range of services to families affected by cancer including emotional and logistic support which helps make the kids’ day to day life at the hospital a bit easier.
In case of severe rain forecast, the tournament will be rescheduled as soon as possible after the current date. We understand this might not be convenient for all players but registration fees will not be reimbursed if participants can't play on these dates. Remember that all proceeds will go to Cure Our Kids New Caledonia / RedKite!
