Les Grands Chefs

A series of dinners in The Theatre Royale paying tribute to the pioneers of French Cuisine.

'Les Grands Chefs' dinners pay tribute to the masters of French cuisine. Guests will be seated in the Theatre Royale and be treated to an extravagant feast with live music from Hubert's jazz trio.

  • 5 August: Eugénie Brazier

“The spiritual grandmother of all good young cooks”. As teacher to many renowned French chefs, including Paul Bocuse, Madame Brazier was also the first woman to receive 3 Michelin stars.

  • 30 September: Auguste Escoffier

“King of Chefs and chef of kings”
Escoffier's influence is still felt far and wide as he helped create institutions such as the Savoy London and the Ritz Paris. Laying the groundwork for modern French cooking over 100 years ago, his creations are still seen on menus today.
