Inspired by Head Brewer Vincent’s German roots, Frenchies are creating an authentic Oktoberfeast with German food and beer. Picture a huge beer hall in Bavarian colours with long tables and endless food and beers.
It will definitely be a feast; the menu will include famous German dishes such as Pretzel, Sauerkraut, Spaetzle with mushroom cream sauce or crispy Pork Belly with Knoedel. As dessert, you’ll be able to taste Apfelstrudel, Kaiserschmarn or the popular gingerbread hearts. All homemade on premises by Frenchies executive chef Thomas Cauquil.
Throughout the day, there will be live entertainment band, plenty of competitions including Nail Hammer or Beer Pong, Beer Stein Race, Guzzling Competition and more. All free to enter, with great prizes to win.
It will also be a family friendly event full of entertainment with face painters and a balloon animal blower, fire fighters show and more. Children enter for free and will receive a ‘find me’ wristband.

Frenchies Bistro & Brewery is owned and operated by 2 friends. Thomas is the executive chef and Vincent, the master brewer. They have
decided to bring the concept of Bistronomy to Australia. They deliver produce-driven cuisine, showcasing the best of their French modern
heritage, as well as hand-crafted beers, all produced in-house.
Executive Chef Thomas Cauquil is specialised in Charcuterie integrating fantastic patés and terrines to the menu. He works closely with a handful of local producers, farmers, fishermen and providers to use what is best in season. The menu changes daily, based on the best produce found on the market.
Vincent De Soyres is the head brewer. After starting his journey in Lyon, France at Ninkasi Brewery, he has been in the industry for over 10 years. Since then, he has won many awards with his Frenchies beers, including AIBA Beer Awards and Sydney Royal awards.
