Neuilly Sa Mere

Every year, our teachers put together a workshop for the French extension HSC students. It is a supplementary study of the NESA prescribed text, taught by a native French teacher. The objective is to add more details, different perspectives, and a cultural dimension to what has already been learnt during the year. Workshop registration is done individually for any year 12 extension student.

Neuilly sa mère workshop program:

Film context: study of the socio-cultural background of France. France-Algeria History: Study of the political and diplomatic relationship between France and Algeria from 1830 until now. Immigration in the media: how artists and comedians talk about social and cultural integration

Slang : discover or re-discover French contemporary slang
