DAEFLE (Diplôme d’aptitude à l’Enseignement du Français Langue Etrangère) is a professional qualification for those seeking accreditation to teach French as a foreign language. It is offered by the Alliance Française de Paris Ile-de-France, in collaboration with the CNED.
To obtain the DAEFLE, candidates enrolled in the preparation course starting from July 2023 must achieve a minimum score of 20 out of
55 on continuous assessment and complete both micro-tasks. More information HERE
The candidate must present their pedagogical monitoring notification at the time of registration.
If you have any questions in regards to the training content, organisation and results, please visit
Alliance Française Paris or
email daefle@alliancefr.org.
Registration will be confirmed only once the full application fee and completed forms have been received by our customer service team.
Candidates must register for each component of the DAEFLE exam (Entry Test and Final Exam). Candidates are not able to choose the date of their oral exam: the exam timetable will be shared via email one week prior to the exam.
Inscriptions 2024 :
Distance preparation modules are offered by Alliance Française de Paris Ile-de-France for those wishing to sit the DAEFLE exam.
Following the jury's deliberations, Alliance Francaise Ile-de-Paris will email the outcome of your exam. For this reason, candidates are asked to ensure their supplied email address is correct.
For successful candidates, the diploma will be mailed out from France one month after the notification of your results via email. Please note, there may be some delay in these certificates arriving in Australia.
Alliance Française de Sydney is the only centre in Sydney accredited to deliver the DELF, DALF, DAEFLE and TCF series exams. All examiners and assessors are trained and authorised by the CIEP. They follow strict assessment guidelines and are regularly monitored.
