School Screenings

There is still time to book your school screenings for this year's spectacular 32nd edition of the Alliance Française French Film Festival. Commencing on Tuesday 2 March and running until Wednesday 31 March, the Festival is delighted to bring you this selection of films:

POLY

POLY

Travel back to the 1960s to meet Poly, the Shetland pony, who has inspired children ever since she jumped from the pages of Cécile Aubry’s much-loved novel and into their hearts. This visually splendid new feature film – set against the breathtaking landscapes of the Cévennes region in south-central France – will delight and inspire a whole new generation.

Recommended: From Year 4

FAHIM, THE LITTLE CHESS PRINCE

FAHIM

Finished The Queen’s Gambit and looking to fill the chess-filled hole in your life? Try Fahim, the Little Chess Prince, an inspirational underdog story about a Bangladeshi refugee boy who takes on the world of chess (with a charmingly gruff Gerard Depardieu by his side).

OF LOVE AND LIES

FOURMI

Desperate to halt his father’s self-destructive spiral, a young boy tests for a top soccer club, but is rejected for being too small. Not wishing to impose yet another disappointment on his father, he impulsively articulates a well-meaning fiction... one that quickly spirals and overtakes not just his life, but that of those around him.

LITTLE VAMPIRE

PETIT VAMPIRE

Little Vampire and his human best friend Michel leap from the pages of the best-selling children’s illustrated book series to star in their own film!
