Whatever their goals or concerns – whether it’s to complement school classes, develop a new skill or
prepare for exams – we can help teenagers make great strides in their French studies, whilst discovering an exciting
new culture. Through these term courses, available in a range of levels, students will be expertly guided by French native-speaking
teachers to deepen their knowledge of French and francophone cultures, and to excel in the four cornerstones of language learning;
speaking, writing, listening and reading.

Save $100 on our Teens Term CoursesAs a registered provider for the Service NSW Creative Kids program, school-aged children between the ages of 4.5 – 18 years are eligible for one $100 voucher per calendar year to put towards their enrolment into any of our Kids and Teens Courses. |

Teen Term A1.1
First year of French. Typically Year 7.
I am a complete beginner.
Teen Term A1.2
Second year of French. Typically Year 8.
I can interact with others to introduce and describe myself and my family in a basic way.
I can ask and answer simple questions on familiar topics with some autocorrection and external help.
Teen Term A2
Third or fourth year of French. Typically Year 9 or Year 10.
I can understand short, simple texts and information.
I can have short conversations about everyday situations, my hobbies, my plans for the weekend and my last holiday (even if I might need a
little help).
Teen Term B1
Fourth or fifth year of French. Typically Year 10 or Year 11.
I can understand the main points of clear speech about everyday subjects and straightforward factual texts.I can initiate, maintain and end a simple conversation on topics of personal interest.
I can talk about my experiences, feelings and reactions.
Teen Term B2
Five or more years of French. Typically Year 12.
Je peux comprendre les principaux points d'un discours complexe sur des sujets concrets ou abstraits.
Je peux lire avec un grand degré d'indépendance, prendre part à une conversation et défendre mes opinions.
Teen Term B2 HSC EXTENSION
Five or more years of French. Year 12 students preparing the French HSC Extension.
Je souhaite me préparer à l'examen Extension du HSC.
J'ai une bonne maitrise du français sur des sujets concrets ou abstraits et je peux comprendre des textes ou documents complexes.
Je participe à une conversation et sais analyser l'opinion de mon interlocuteur mais aussi défendre mon point de vue.
