The Boules Artistes are committed to introduce the sport of Pétanque to the general public, improve playing standards and promote a high level of sportsmanship. They organise Pétanque games and competitions throughout the year in the Sydney area: Tempe, Redfun, Kirribilli, South Coogee and in Birchgrove.

They also conduct the "Sport Pétanque" competition and the "Boules and Blue" event which is a all day Pétanque game followed by live music. Not to mention that The Boules Artistes takes part in National and International Pétanque events.
