Karakorum, A Musical Journey.
The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra presents its next concert series.

KARAKORUM tells the story of one of history’s most extraordinary explorers. This theatrical performance reimagines the music encountered by 13th-century Flemish monk William of Rubruck on his epic Silk Road journey from Constantinople to Karakorum through the endless mountains and steppes of Eurasia.

The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and the Brandenburg Choir will be joined by the exceptional French early music ensemble La Camera delle Lacrime who will showcase an array of rare ancient instruments including the Chinese erhu, the Iranian kamanche and the European hurdy-gurdy.

To win a double pass to an evening performance of your choice in Sydney, simply email us the name of the empire of which Karakorum was the capital at the time of William Rubruck's journey.
