La Plume d'Or

Ready… set… write! Celebrate and showcase your French in the "La Plume d’Or" competition. 

Put your creativity to the test for a chance to win prestigious prizes and gain international recognition. Open to Alliance Française students at A2 level and above, La Plume d’Or is a global celebration of the Semaine de la Francophonie, organised by the French Senate and bringing together Francophiles from around the world. The competition takes place over two hours and consists of two parts:

• Language exercises (60 points), marked by our Sydney teaching team
  
• Written expression (40 points), evaluated by the Défense de la Langue Française jury
  

Winners will be announced on 15 June 2026.

The first prize includes a return flight to Paris and seven nights’ hotel accommodation.
