La belle vie - French Market

The annual French market - La Belle Vie will be on the 3rd Sunday of May. With over 70 stalls of French goodness and 4000 plus visitors each year, you can be guaranteed a fantastique, family day out!

The market is an initiative that is supported by  the Francophone Association of Southern Sydney (FASS) and held to promote the French programs at TPPS. This event is a great showcase for TPPS and offers an international vibe to the Sutherland Shire.

Nelly Duret à Sydney

Nelly Duret dedicated her life to pedagogy, teaching from kindergarten to high school seniors and working with inmates at Sainte Anne prison. She pursued university studies in History and Literature and became a jury member for the recruitment of interpreter guides in Avignon, specializing in Heritage and Culture. From 1961 to 2001, she was involved in the Avignon group for Art and Popular Traditions, traveling internationally. Passionate about religious history, she worked on the Vaudois in Luberon and Jews in Comtat Venaissin, receiving the "Ambassador" Prize from Avignon. Later, she focused on writing a history of Saint Jean du Gard and promoting heritage through associations and exhibitions.
